Clients: B3 Strategy and Twisted Hills

Twisted Hills’ spirits stand apart from their ciders, embracing a uniquely unconventional charm that remains relatively undiscovered across Canada and the US. Capturing consumer attention through innovative label printing techniques was crucial. Additionally, our designs infused a nostalgic, historical appeal into the labels, offering consumers a deeper understanding of the spirits’ essence and compelling reasons to fall in love with them.

LEAP Report

Design and illustration: Marina Prates

Clients: B3 Strategy, for LEAP – Pecaut Centre for Social Impact

LEAP | Pecaut Centre for Social Impact (LEAP) was created in 2012 to address complex social issues, and since then they became Canada’s leading social impact innovator. In 2022, recognizing the unprecedented setbacks women faced during the pandemic, Leap launched the “Advancing Women’s Economic Well Being” report, demonstrating how investing in women leads to long-term social and economic benefits that have a proven ripple effect.

Working with the B3 Strategy team I was responsible for crafting a fresh visual identity for this report. This involved developing a novel assortment of icons, charts, and illustrations tailored to resonate with their audience while facilitating a clear comprehension of the in-depth insights presented by LEAP.

Able & Howe

Design: Marina Prates

Clients: B3 Strategy for Romi Lab

Formerly named ROMI Lab’s unique offering is the fractional CMO – partnering with organizations to lead business growth by growing business leaders from within. To better connect their brand identity to this offering, they’d developed a new name: Able & Howe.

B3 Strategy brought me on board to craft a visual identity that would help support the new name and communicate their offering and brand overall. To help audiences understand they would be in safe, expert hands, I used a bold serif font to convey a sense of tradition and stability. The customized crossbars in the A and H communicate growth and dynamism. The ampersand, standing out in gold, is the key piece of the wordmark, demonstrating the benefits of collaboration with the team at Able & Howe.
